About

I grew up watching my grandmother sew clothes, so it's no surprise that I developed an interest in sewing machines. My father was a traditional tailor, but he switched to making sofa covers at the suggestion of a friend. This was a good move, as sofas don't change size (unlike people), so there was a lot of demand for loose covers.

I started working for my father during the school holidays when I was 13 years old. I enjoyed learning the craft of making sofa and chair covers, and it was a good way to earn some extra money. Ten years later, I was ready to start my own business. I've been making sofa and chair covers for over half a century now, and I still love it.
